Definition of DTY (low elastic yarn):

DTY (Draw texturing yarn), also known as polyester low-elastic yarn, is a finished yarn that is continuously or simultaneously stretched on a texturing machine and deformed by a twister.

DTY network wire: The network wire refers to the filament in the network nozzle, which is entangled with each other by the jet airflow, and the filaments are periodic network dots. Network processing is mostly used for POY, FDY and DTY processing. The low-elastic network yarn manufactured by combining network technology and DTY technology has both the bulkiness and good elasticity of the textured yarn, as well as many periodicity and network points, which improves the filament The tightness of the machine eliminates several processes of textile processing and can improve the ability of the tow to pass through the water jet loom.

Generally, there are low-elasticity wire, medium-elasticity wire, high-elasticity wire, light mesh wire, heavy mesh wire, no mesh wire, low-elasticity light mesh wire, ply yarn, etc.

In order to eliminate the gloss of the fiber, slices containing anatase titanium dioxide (TiO 2) are used to reduce the gloss of the fiber. If TiO 2 is not included in the slice, it is a glossy filament (or a large glossy filament), containing 0.3% titanium dioxide as a semi-matting filament, and 1% as a full matting filament.

The difference between DTY and FDY:

The difference between low-elasticity and high-elasticity yarns is that during the texturing process of POY, does the texturing machine use a second-heat box, and the wire that has been shaped by the two-heat box is called a low-elastic wire, and the one that does not use a two-heat box is generally called High elasticity.
